Lovely hotel great decor with beautiful surroundings and an amazing restaurant, we loved it so much that we ate there most days. You do hear the trains but that didn't impact our sleep.

Best location to go Manchu Picchu for train connection. Best breakfast & dinner. Service is excellent if you need assistance.

We loved this property, and its location to the train is perfect. Our only complaint was that there was no a/c. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was amazing! They prepared box breakfasts since we were leaving early and held our luggage overnight until we returned from our Inca Trail hike. I highly recommend this property.

The place looks adorable but the problem with this place is that you smell diesel fuel all night long and you hear the train bell ring and the horn go off all night long. Staff is a little deceiving as they tried to add extra things to your bill and services. We asked the staff to weigh our laundry so we know how much to pay them for washing it. I watched her go around the corner and lay it down and then come back within one second and gave us a weight. As soon as she left, thinking, that was a little too quick I went around the corner to see the weight and it was not there so she made up the weight. The weight seemed way heavier than what it felt to me so we got gouged a little more that way as well.

On the other hand, we would like to clarify that we consider all the prices we offer at the hotel to be reasonable and always aligned with the market. The laundry service costs 4 per kilo, and we always inform our guests of this before they use the service. The weighing is done in the laundry area, which is only accessible to our trained staff. We have full confidence in our team, who have been working with us for many years. Communication is quick thanks to the use of radios to report weights or any other matters. Also we would have also appreciated it if you had shared your concerns regarding this and other additional charges you mentioned, so we could have explained your bill and weighed the laundry in front of you. Absolutely loved this property. Gorgeous setting, incredible views from the balcony. It is actually in the train station - so if train sounds bother you, that can be a problem. We love trains, so it was fine. Highly recommend. Lovely organic farm and coffee roasters on site.
