The exterior and kitchen/bathrooms need refreshing and powerpoints in the kitchen rethinking for example the kettle/toaster with unavoidable trailing wires so we had to take extra care and limit usage. Perhaps a quick solution for this would be to provide a non-electric kettle for the hob and some extra shelf space near the power socket for the toaster.
