"Stayed for 1 night with my son who was competing at a sports tournament the following day locally, so more of a convenience trip/stay. Car park was a little limited though I did manage to park. The appearance from outside was nice and the welcome from the gentleman at the desk was friendly and pleasant, though don't expect there to be a Reception Desk (it was a table and a guy with a laptop)! "By far worst hotel in Birmingham and i travel there regularly! Poor welcome. Winding stairs, never ending maze-like corridors; a real safety hazard! Not for clients with suitcases. No lift! Filthy dingy room No heating No toiletries Filthy bath Poor lighting No duvets or extra blankets. Thin walls....etc Do not go there on your own or with anyone. Do not go fullstop! Unless you want to experience rock bottom for the hell of it! "
