The facilities are lacking in the kitchen, microwave needs updating and to work properly, the oven needs sorting too, Also breakfast bowls needed.cupboard needs fixing. Blinds need fixing in the bedroom. Showerfloor is old and tired . Roof terrace definitely needs replacing. Chez Mango has its good points and it was very clean, pool was lovely as well. The lady Auroa who picked us up to go to the property was amazing, out of this world helpful. Anything I asked for she got it above and beyond. Its a good location, and brilliant view from the penthouse roof terrace.. It just needs a few things revamped and a little tlc. Blinds equipment in the kitchen curtains in the bedroom shower floor comfy chair's, the gardens surrounding need trimming and taming as well. The surroundings could be excellent. TLC.

Purposely overbooked property

A Chez Mango driver picked us up at the Montserrat airport and took us to a remote house with no pool, spa, kitchen or hot water. The resident owner of the house placed us in a downstairs bedroom. It was about a 15 minute taxi ride from the house to Old Towne. We were advised by the Chez Mango proprietor that his Villa was full and this was our only option. Very disappointing.

We stayed here for 10 terrible days we never received the accommodation we booked and wasn’t informed prior to arrival. We had live cockroaches which we caught and gave to the owner. We left money in the room which was acknowledged and was never returned to us. Expedia was useless in negotiations regarding us receiving a full refund. I would not recommend this place to stay. Not suitable for wheel chair users or anyone with walking difficulties. This accommodation is quite remote no eating establishments in walking distance definitely need to be driving especially if you don’t have access to cooking facilities.

Patrick, we are sorry we were unable to host you as we were fully booked and tried to reach out to you several times well in advance of your arrival to let you know we cannot accommodate you in any of our Suites during the time requested. Again, our apologies. Hope you enjoyed the free beer we provided though.
