The property is charming and upscale. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The linens and towels are suburb. Our primary complaint was that the room is stuffy and we could not adjust the air conditioning which makes for a restless sleep.

Lovely apartment in the centre of the old town. 2 minute walk to waterfront. Excellent transfer to hotel from off site parking. Really comfy bed

Wanted to cancel as i found out the day before that this hotel was unsuutable for people with wheelchairs
Once i discussed with my wife i tried to get a refund which was offered the same day andcwas refused. Reason. Ourcroom had been made up already. Pathetic excuse as i doubt rooms are only made up once they are booked.. NEVER GOING TO BOOK HERE AGAIN.

Dear Paul,our hotel is situated right in the center of the Old Town area of Rovinj, which is stated and shown on our site as it is something very important for any guest wanting to visit Rovinj and stay in this area. It is completely different than any other area in this town, with the buildings being very old they are all located on a incline with the roads being made of uneven slippery cobblestones.We were completely unaware of your wifes condition until a day prior when you contacted us about a possibility of parking near the hotel because of her condition.We did not want you and your wife to experience any troubles during your vacation so we informed you about how the Old Town is unsuitable for people with severe disabilities and that our hotel did not have an elevator, as is the case with every building in this area because of history preservation laws.Our policy clearly states that we hold the right to charge the full amount in case of a cancellation 3-0 days prior to arrival.As this was a special case we had decided to offer your a refund which you however refused and decided that you would be coming to stay anyway.The next day when the check-in period had started you contacted us to tell us you had changed your mind completely and were not coming.Cancelling late on the day of arrival puts us at a disadvantage as we will be unable to sell that same room that late.Since you had refused the refund the day before the free cancellation was no longer possible.Kind regards,

We loved staying at The Melegran... an amazing boutique hotel which made the stay in Rovinj feel really special. Really excellent room and location is brilliant, right in the centre. Great personal shuttle service from their car park outside the city boundary too.

The room was beautiful and the AC worked great! It seems they thought of every amenity. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast from the cafe down the street was a wonderful fresh buffet which had many choices. The shuttle from the parking lot was a godsend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Melegran! The staff are incredible, and it was nice to have the golf cart to take us with our bags to and from our car. We chose Rovinj As a central location to visit ancient sites in Pula and Porec. I can’t recommend Rovinj highly enough! It is a beautiful small town with friendly people and the sea there is great!
