The rooms are charming. The food in the restaurant is excellent. It’s a great place to stay. We definitely recommend it.

Very helpful staff, good breakfast. However need to book parking in advance and daily charge was not clear when booking.

Came back to the hotel at 11.30.
Pouring rain and wind.
Outer door did not open. Spent 20 minutes waiting. Until the night boy led me through back door.
Unacceptable.

Although there is parking available, we were unable to park two motorcycles in their car park because we hadn’t reserved parking space. There was nowhere on the website, when booking to reserve parking. Not very impressed with this side of the hotel, other than that it was fine.

Good 2 star hotel
Posted 31 May 2019 on HotelsStayed for 2 nights. In a handy location within 10 minutes walking distance of the port, but also 20 mins walk to the train station. In addition there is a laundrette just 100 metres away. I did not eat there but the restaurant looked quite good in the evening with quite a few guests using it.
