This property is very beautiful and has excellent views. The reason for the 3 stars is simply that i had to go off the property to smoke. I understand not smoking inside the rooms but hanging out under the hotel sign beside the road to smoke is a bit much.

Thank you for your compliments about our property. We take pride in the work that we do to maintain the Sea Cliff House. Yes, we've had a strict non-smoking policy inside and out for several years. While we do understand that it might be a slight inconvenience to smoke just outside the property line — our goal is to maintain the pristine aesthetics and cleanliness that our guests have always enjoyed. This alleviates the possibility of smoking related litter on our property and minimizes the exposure of secondhand smoke that could negatively affect the health of other guests. We're sorry for that inconvenience and we truly hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay regardless of our smoking policy.

Quaint seaside hotel. Staff was excellent. Room was clean and super comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Property is right on Old Orchard Beach and has an outdoor pool and hot tub as well. The room was impeccably clean, had a small kitchenette with a two-burner electric stove. Hot water was very prompt to flow. Shower was comfortable. Furnishings were a little outdated but well maintained. Drains in the sink and tub were a little slow. Even so, we would definitely come back and would highly recommended the Sea Cliff House Motel.
