The property was clean and beautiful. We came in the off season so there wasnt a lot to do there, but was a short drive to Kennebunkport and Portland.

A very quaint and lovely property. Reminds me of a 1920s beachfront mansion. The hardwood floors were creeky which we expected in a property from the 1920s. Our king bed room was cozy and comfortable with a small eating table, small refrigerator and coffee pot. I wished it had a microwave. We were on the third floor. There is no elevator. Bathroom could use a few hooks. Very walkable to nearby restaurants and pier. Common area furniture could use an upgrade.

We were excited to see the new renovations of the Ocean House but there was a wedding for the weekend and couldn't access the space.
The room we stayed at was ver spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly as always!

Overall, this was a beautiful room in a beautiful (and old) hotel. The room was ready early and was clean. All the blinds were open to welcome us into our room with an ocean view. We loved the short walk to the beach. Our only conplaint was the broken bathroom door. The door did not properly close or stay closed. So, we used the bathroom with the door open.

Staff was lovely to work with and the location is right on the beach! Walking distance of so much! And Portland is just a hop on the highway!

Wish the bar on the lower level was actually in operation. That would be a huge improvement.
