The property was very old looking
We were on our own in the property the room was old looking with a terrible view out of the window staff was very friendly
Unfortunately we didn’t have an electric or water so had to leave 2 days early
The staff sold me a sim for 25 dollars and it didn’t work and told me I had to give it back when I left after 2 days a con really

In the evening, my room door was opened by someone unknown. Fortunately, it was locked from the inside, so it wasn't forced open.
No one dealt with the incident of the door being opened at night. It just ended without any result.
It is located in the old town. The surrounding environment is relatively dangerous.

Hello Jiaxin, I apologize for the incident that occurred. You were in the accommodation with another guest who was in another room at the hostel. There must have been a mistake in the room door. The person who attended to you for the included services informed you that this guest was staying in the same room as you.

Hostal Real Cervantes is a higher-end stay in old town Havana. I could easily see that the host put in a lot of thoughts into renovating the rooms with ample lighting, new baths, stone floors, modern air conditioners, and tasteful decorations. The four of us stayed in two rooms with two king-size beds and separate bathrooms. The host responded to my messages quickly, and the two on-site assistants, Yamilet and Indira, were warm to help us with great information. The location is really close to Plaza of Cathedral and walkable to Museum of Fine Arts.
A couple of caveats: there was loud music starting around 11PM in the Cervantes park and a neighbor raises a rooster that starts to work at 6AM. Everyday. The Internet connection was spot in the first two nights but much better in the third night -- maybe the connection was through cable modem so bandwidth was determined by how many neighbors are using it?
All in all, a great stay. Thanks a lot!

Es un ambiente acogedor, agradable y cómodo para estar en la Habana Vieja. Se puede recorrer a pie hacia todos los puntos históricos del barrio, aún y con la falta de mantenimiento que tienen en esta parte de la ciudad.
El trato de su anfitrión que nos atendió fue espectacular, pendiente de todo lo que necesitamos.
