"This was, arguably, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Although one of the staff who spoke English was friendly and helpful, the place is a complete dump. Dust and hair all over the carpet, stains on the walls but the worst was the bed ... the mattress felt broken and I could not stop itching and scratching all night. "I loved my stay at this hotel. Yes, the hotel is old and outdated for sure, but it is kept clean. My room was small, but the bed was bigger than expected. The free, hot breakfast was very nice. Many dishes (not only eggs and sausages but also cooked vegetables, meat, miso soup, etc.). But due to the breakfast area being small, the line was long. It was really close to Okayama Station. There are two convenience stores nearby (Lawson and Seven-Eleven). Lots of restaurants around. Some front desk...
