"The one bed room apartment i stayed in is very clean and tidy. The bed is very confortable; i had good night sleep in here. On the down side, i had to chase the email for checkin procedures. The phone number provided in the email confirmation is wrong. I tried to call , it goes to “the number you have called doesn’t exist “ I contacted expedia (booking agent) and they provided me with a email address of the property management. "My wife's birthday treat so we could eat at Cote and relax with pool and jacuzzi. On arrival informed pool was out of action but might be back on later. "As ever a great stay at the Hotel du Vin Exeter, friendly and professional staff and lovely rooms, and mine was no exception this time. The breakfast was made to order which was absolutely delicious, it really is a USP in these days of hotels serving up a dried up breakfast buffet kept tepid under lights and bland scrambled eggs which have no colour or taste. So to conclude, great hotel and staff, superb customer service and excellent food!"

"The staff at the hotel were very helpful and mothing was to much trouble. The receptionist even guided us in person to the pick up point for our taxi. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is right in the middle of the shops and is a sones throw away fron the christmas market. I thought the bar prices were high two large wines were £26 "

Wonderful stay

"I arrived late to a very chirpy chap at reception which was lovely. Directed to my room which was a lovely size with all creature comforts. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also a pleasant experience. The food was of excellent quality. Checking out was easy. I would definately stay here again "

"Booked a last minute 3 night break. The location of the hotel is right on the sea front. There is ample parking at a cost of £6 per night for hotel guests. My room was large and comfortable, good sized bathroom and very clean. I booked half board and was good value for money. The evening menu changed daily with around 4 options each for starter, main course & dessert. The bar area was comfortable and had windows overlooking the garden & sea, the outside space was very well kept. The location was good for local transport links..,,I got the train into Exeter. The station was about 10 mins walk away and the journey was just under 30 minutes. I really enjoyed my stay and given the price I paid was excellent value for money"
