"Very old and dirty in the unit, lobby was clean. We had to use to fold out and I was afraid of bed bugs, the mattress was so gross! I went with blind faith that the blankets were clean and layered them on top. We asked for another duvet or blankets and was told they don’t have any. Did not eat breakfast, it looked like a small option for the price. The staff was friendly and answered directional questions. We were not close to restaurants or city center but the tram was close. "The parking was convenient, though not free, and needs to be booked with the hotel. I did not receive a response to my email, so had to telephone, I had to try a few times before being answered. I did not recive a written confirmation the parking was booked, but all was fine when we arrived. Very well located, just a few short minutes walk from petite france. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well appointed. My daughter enjoyed the fuseball table in the lobby."

"Great location! Close to the cathedral, Petit France, and all the tourist spots yet located on a quiet pedestrian street. The check in process was seamless and management was quick to respond to all communications. The only negative would be the bed was too hard for my liking."

"Nothing like the photos. Bathroom and bedding akin to hostel standards. Kitchen dirty with cobwebs in corners. It is not an apartment but a unit insde an operating Seniors Nursing Home. Totally misleading and disappointed with Expedia promoting this the way it is. Destroyed the final weeks of our trip that have all been great through Expedia until this experience "

"It was definitely NOT soundproof. We could hear the muffled conversations of people in the room next door and a lot of noise from the street from people who had very much enjoyed the Christmas market gluhwein. Otherwise, the room was nice, clean and comfortable and the hotel was lovely. Staff were kind and helpful. "

"We were there to enjoy Strasbourg‘s city center decorations, and Christmas markets, and the hotel was perfectly located for that. We were within easy, walking distance of all the sites. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Dining was limited in the hotel itself, but you’re right near everything, so there are plenty of cafes restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for viewing the most beautiful parts of Strasbourg."

Perfect Stay Near Strasbourg’s Christmas Market

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Strasbourg! The location couldn’t have been better – it was just a short walk from the city center and the famous Christmas market. "The staff at City Residence Strasbourg was very welcoming and helpful during my stay. Room was clean and spacious and glad that it had a kitchenette. Location was within a 10-minute walk to the train station and five minutes to Place des Halles for all my grocery needs. Thank you again."
