"The photos on Hotels.com don't do this property any justice, whilst it looks pleasant enough we booked it expecting it to be a bit dated and for the

area to pretty much be just a splash

but were prepared to accept that as it was in an area that we wanted to be near, cleaniness and service is more important than decor and the price was great compared to everything else round about but we were really pleased on arrival as the hotel is lovely! Its a beautiful building, the rooms are huge...

"The hotel is a bit out of the way, although there are three restaurants in the vicinity. It’s a bit of a hike up to the hotel from Casias or Paço de Arcas. The hotel restaurant and cleaning staff were super nice. The gym isn’t great with two cycling machines, one rower and weights in a box like room. And there was never any water in the water bottle which was disappointing as the temperatures ranged from 34-38 degrees. Also, the poolside loungers aren’t that comfortable. But the rooms are...

"The stuff at the reception particularly the shuttle service drivers were excellent in every respect. If you hire a car, then location is not an issue with regard to travelling to the nearby beaches and elsewhere. Breakfast was very good with regard to varieties, quality and freshness. The waiters / waitress at breakfast and in the bar were all very helpful. Travelling at weekends could be of a bit of difficulties as only some buses are running but weekdays the free shuttle service to the local...

. Excellent transport options to get into central Lisbon, to the airport, beach and Sintra. Also lots of local facilities including a supermarket and food options. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again."
