Perfect location in city center

Pros: Location.
Cons: Help clean up community area around hotels location.
Location: Shopping, Tours, Opera house, Food etc etc everything within a blocks walk.
Perfect location in city center, Staff has good english speaking abilities. Rooms are smaller yet very clean. Even though its in the cities center it was very quiet at night. Food, Shopping, History tours etc etc are within a couple of blocks walk. Highly Recommended.

No amenities at all; no phone in room; no ice available; no restaurant......clean; centrally located steps to opera house and Primorsky promenade; staff extremely helpful and courteous......well worth the money!

Nice hotel right in the City Center

Pros: Excellent location, big room with modern furniture and modern bathroom. Room was very clean. Friendly and helpful staff at receptionist desk.
Cons: We stay at the third floor; there is no elevator. No problem for us to go up /down. It would be good to have help with luggage on arrival /departure.
Location: Great location, right in the center of the city. You stay right on a famous Deribasovska Street. it is a couple of minute walk to Opera Theater,
My wife and I were very pleased with stay in this hotel. It is a boutique hotel which has all necessary components to make travelers happy: great location (walking distance to all Odessa City Center attractions), spacey comfortable rooms with everything you need for relaxing stay, friendly and helpful staff willing to help you at the moment you are asking for help or advice. The booking via Expedia was easy, there were no any unexpected requests for additional payment in the hotel. We enjoyed staying in this hotel and definitely will consider it for our next stay in Odessa, Ukraine.

What happened to the cleaning staff tip?
Posted 28 Sep 2016I stayed at the Ribas from September 18th through the 26th. During my stay I would leave a tip on the pillow for the cleaning lady. The Saturday morning of my stay I came back to my room earlier than my normal routine and saw that my room had not been cleaned yet but the tip money was gone. I can only assume that someone entered my room and took it. It saddens me to think that the employees there would steal from each other. It angers me to think that someone entered the room that had no business being in there.
Also during the middle of my stay I quit getting a WiFi reception on both my tablet and mobile phone. I mentioned it a few times to the staff and was told there was nothing wrong with their WiFi. I find this an interesting coincidence that the WiFi reception on both my tablet and phone quit working at the same time. So for the rest of my stay I walked over to McDonalds and used their WiFi.

Thank you for your review. We conducted an investigation. Surveillance camera showed that that day manager came to the room when your were absence before the maid came. Leaders acted indignant supervisor and came to the decision to dismiss this administrator. At the moment, the employee doesn't work at the hotel Ribas. We apologize for the situation and hope to see you again at the hotel Ribas.

Very central
Posted 1 Sep 2016Had huge problems with a hotel I had previously booked so I booked Ribas last minute and was perfect for what I needed. Excellent location, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room, and easy check-in. I enjoyed staying there for 5 days and would certainly recommend it
