Northstar Villa provides a safe and tranquil environment for their guests'. The grounds are well maintained and extremely clean, thanks to Mr Henry. He provided our party with coconuts and made us feel welcomed. The pool is extremely clean and well maintained. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the street. The rooms are large and comfortable, with air conditioning. Included with room is mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortably . The rooms are immaculate and taken care of by Ms Norma. She provided excellent service to our party, she anticipated and was accommodating to our needs. Ms Norma and Mr Henry are a great team .

We only used the place (Room 4) to sleep and shower. Spent most of our time with friends a short walk away. The people were very nice, (house manager, pool person, yard person). The property was affordable, but is in need of some attention. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The shower water stream was inconsistent. A/c worked great. Bed was comfortable. Pool looked great, but we never went in. We had a kitchenette but no safe in the room. They did provide a contact for airport transfer from Montego Bay. Felt safe in the community.

Helen was a great guest, she communicated well and was very easy going. Helen I was informed the day you left about the exhaust fan, I'm sorry it was not brought to my attention earlier, we could have moved you to a different room.Looking forward to hosting you in the near future. the room was dirty , the location trying to find was not easy . room is very small , a cheap folding table with outside lawn furniture to sit on. i made an error on the booking dates and was charged double the daily rate i booked. AND the place was EMPTY . could have charged me the same daily rate i was charged in the beginning. was totally upset with the whole place. i seriously thought about leaving. the bathroom bowl was filthy, no one cleaned under or behind the furniture, the refrigerator didn't work. THIS IS NOT A PLACE I COULD RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS . i really don't know how my girlfriend and i stayed the whole week. the crew you have working there are very nice , Andrew was exceptional, Herbie and Nora nice as well but I was not happy

Hello good morning
We at North Star Villas have read your review and would like to clarify the issues you brought forward.
You said your room was dirty however the housekeeper said you did not want your room to be cleaned on a daily basis and she even had to insist that she changed your bed linen.
You said you made a mistake with your date and was charged double the daily rate when you adjusted the date, North Star Villas DID NOT collect from you , you did Expedia Collect payment and North Star Villas WILL NOT RECEIVE double rate from Expedia so i suggest you take that up with Expedia if you were charged double rate. North Star Villas have no knowledge of such happenings.
Your review also had in it that the refrigerator did not work, please note that the refrigerator is working and has been working since you were there , it froze ice when you were there correct ? sure indicator that it is working.
You mentioned our location was hard to find, you were provided with our address and contact telephone number so if you had a problem finding the location i think the ideal thing to do was to call for directions.

Well first off all we were pleasantly surprised how nice the place was. We only stay one night but we were impressed by the place, how clean the property was and not to mention the staff. It's only 9 rooms so don't go expecting all inclusive treatment then be disappointed, which we weren't because we knew during booking that it was not. The bedroom is very nice also the bathroom.
Miss Norma the housekeeper very welcoming and friendly, and last but not least the grounds man , Herbie big up to him he's the one who takes care of the property and make sure we had our jelly coconut water in the morning. Yes I would definitely stay at Northstar Villa again but for longer it's peaceful and quiet.
