We came for the quiet, and that's mostly what we found. We enjoyed the short walk to the ocean and had two breaks in the weather to enjoy it. Spa area is nice. Sound travels from it quite a bit, though. Could hear the steady clatter of louder families enjoying the pool through the walls of our unit.
Everything about the unit is functional and dated. Couches work, but they're old. There's nothing fancy about the dining room table. The silverware is a step up from plasticware. Also, you'll be handwashing the plates and cups you use, as there's no dishwasher. But the thermostat is wonderful. Loved how warm we could make the place after coming in from a walk.
We didn't mind the layout of the unit--bed upstairs, living space below. But a drawback for many will be that the only bathroom is downstairs. If you need to pee at night, you'll be clutching the spiral staircase and finding your way there in the dark. Would be so much more convenient to have even a half bath upstairs.
Appreciated the use of canoes and the game room.

Very friendly staff! Cute & cozy. VCR didn’t work very well & wifi was down but thats the area. Could add directions on how to turn on the gas stove for heat - figured it out the next day. Overall, enjoyed our stay. We'll be back!

Very friendly staff and an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. My wife and I loved it and when we come back to Ocean Shores we are definitely going to book here again. A short 2-3 minute walk to the beach from the back of the accommodations, pet friendly, just overall we had a fantastic stay I could honestly go on. Thank you!

The Wi-Fi was free but barely usable. While the listing said the unit could accommodate six people, it felt much too small for that many – it’s more comfortable for 2-3 people. The TV was quite small, with poor screen quality, possibly due to a weak connection. The shower door was also a concern, as it was flimsy, not securely installed, and felt unsafe.

I was glad I only booked one night because the unit we were in needed major updates. It was hard to breathe with the musty smell and the carpets and couches needed cleaning. They left a dirty plunger next to our clean towels under the sink. Great location and friendly staff. When I told them in person my concerns they mentioned they were in the process of updating so maybe it’ll get resolved.
