I have stayed here numerous times over the past 15 years. Location sells it, and I was down for the Country calling so price sold it as I caught it early. Property rooms specifically are just dated patched up poor to fair at best. Hard goods and all. It’s just time for a full renovation. Last time I will book.

So sad to see this hotel completely dilapidated. Fager sold to Ramada, and they have completely let it go. Water pressure awful, rooms aren't cleaned daily, and we had ants in our 3rd floor room (weird). Sunset view is great, and a bridge to Fagers Island. That's really the only positive.

This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in Ocean City. The staff at the front desk is rude, the room was dirty, especially the tile floor. The shower doesn't get hot, but luke warm at best. You pay a fortune, in a sense, to stay here for 2 nights during Labor Day Weekend and they charge you to park in their parking lot. To me, that was absolute insanity. You already pay to stay at that hotel, you should get a spot to park regardless of the situation. They only do this because they know there will be no street parking, on the 2 streets that run parallel to the hotel after about 4 PM, due to the fact that Fager's Island is right behind the hotel, and they are unrealistically busy the majority of the time, like the were this past Labor Day weekend. So, once you get there, they got you right where they want you, and you have no choice but to pay the $15 a day to park. Then, the final straw for me was us having to take our own trash out to the dumpster. I couldn't believe that as well. It's like, what does the hotel staff actually do beside charge you extra for things that should be free. Never in the past 20 plus years have I had to deal with paying extra for parking, and taking my own trash to the dumpster. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY IN THIS DUMP !!

Never again.
First thing I did not get the room that I want it. I ask for a higher room I paid for a higher room overlooking the bay. I got a room on the first floor looking at the mud. The mud was smelly ants everywhere. Couldn’t put my food down to go to the bathroom to wash my hands ants all over it ants, biting me, one elevator you have to be out of your room by 10 AM who does that it was the worst trip that I’ve ever had I will not return..

Overall the stay was fine. The customer service at the front desk was not great but they did text me to let me know my room was ready (did an early check-in). Got some good use of the pool until we noticed feces floating in the hot tub, which could happen anywhere, but did not go back in for the rest of the stay. Cleanliness was the biggest issue for me, the floors were dirty, but it was manageable. The location for the price was great, but in the future I will look elsewhere.

This place had a lovely view. Condo was a nice size, but needs a major update. The rooms cleanliness was terrible: Floor was dirty when we walked in. Tv remotes where sticky and falling apart, air conditioner wouldn't get cold enough.

Staff is friendly minus one manager, Jessica, she was rude, everyone else on property was friendly. Understaffed as the front desk was not staffed a lot of the times. No housekeeping, they’ll only swap linens with you and not clean the room or refresh it during your stay. The rooms are dilapidated, a bit moldy, rusted, and shoddy patch work, nothing as nice of conditions as the website portrays. Probably the second worst condition hotel room I have ever stayed in and I travel quite extensively for work. Layout of rooms is odd, windowless one bedroom and the balcony side has a nice view of the bay, but also is located on a canal that fills with the tide. Low tide, it’s a swamp and smells like it. They allow guests to smoke weed on their balconies which is offensive for non-smokers. Surprising for a “100% smoke free hotel.” They also hit you with a $15/night parking fee which should be included in the hotel fee since the rooms they rent are not at all maintained. There was mold in the closet as well as the tub. The shower did not get hot, barely even warm. Was contacted by someone from the hotel twice to "see how our stay was going" and was never even given a response to my concern. I did not bother trying further as i found out other people staying were having the same issues and there wasnt much resolution. The room was just ok otherwise. Wont be staying again but it could have been worse.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience upon arriving in our room on the second floor. Immediately after exiting the elevator we notice a very bad smell which continually got worse as we headed to our room, once in the room the smell was awful the room appeared dirty with a good bit of mold on the shower walls, I went to the front desk at 3:00 p.m.and explained the situation and asked to be moved and Erica advised me there were no other rooms available. Was offered to have maintenance come take a look and suggested they could spray something for the smell, at first I was hesitant because my family had already headed to the beach and I wanted to be with them, but then agreed. Went to the room 2 ladies met up with me and looked at the apartment they did not identify themselves and I thought they were maintenence as I was told by Erica turns out they were housekeeping. Headed to the beach then back to shower before heading to dinner, felt filthy after my shower. My daughter noticed after her shower the bedroom carpet was wet (about a 5 foot section). Came back from dinner tried to lay down to go to bed and we couldn't breathe and when we did it felt toxic. Went to the front desk at 10:00 p.m. and the person there said she had 3 rooms available for us 2 look at which were not available at 3:00 p.m.. First two rooms were unacceptable third was good, moved everything to the new room all slept well, woke up to the ceiling dripping puddle on the floor. Can't

Hotel was just okay. Property was having hot water issues. Worst part was the air conditioning in our room, was not working, maintenance came to fix…but when we came back to room in the evening, it was not working again. When we called, we were informed no one could fix it until the next day and no rooms were available to move to. When we pushed back, the front desk person said to “use the fan”. Unacceptable. Wasn’t fixed until 2pm the next day.

The property really needs a makeover. The room was damp, the tile floor could be dangerous because it was all uneven and some corners were sticking up, the furniture was old and should be replaced. The elevators were a bit scary, we took the stairs mostly. They charge for parking. The pool area was decent. The photos made it look much better than it is.

Had a great stay with the family! Bay views from the balcony in our suite were spectacular. Clean room with a fully functional kitchen. Several nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. Pool and hot tub area were clean and a great place to relax. Will definitely stay here again.
