Booked a last minute stay so I paid for what I got but the hotel rooms are nice. You can tell it’s an older property that they are trying to renovate. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The door to my first room would not work with any of the keys, not even management keys, so they upgraded me to a partial ocean view room. Hotel is within walking distance of everything and not too far from Sunset Cliffs. The local bars are nice but the area is a little run down and a bit dirty. A night it’s very noisy.

We've stayed here over many years and enjoy the view of the ocean from our room. You can watch the Surfers! The hotel is in a wonderful spot where you can walk to shopping, restaurants, and of course walking over to the beach

The fireplace was a nice touch, the bathroom is rrally small & no where to put anything.

Loved the hotel! Staff were friendly. Dog friendly hotel that allowed you to leave your dog in the room if you need to go out. EXTREMELY convenient location/parking. Everything was walkable! Only thing I'd recommend for the hotel is to install towel drying hook/rack, (maybe behind bathroom door?) and some sound insulation under the front door. You can definitely hear people talking in the courtyard and sometimes even outside the hotel. Note that this hotel is directly under a flight path so you will definitely hear planes fly by often (but to be fair, all of OB will likely hear these planes). 10/10 will book again.

Hotel was clean and ocean, shopping and dining are very close to hotel.

The walls are thin and the area is loud so don’t expect to sleep in late. But the front staff was so helpful. When I called to ask how to operate the heater (there are none) he personally ran all the way to the room and back to get me a space heater. Wish I knew his name but he deserves a raise

Loves the location. Staff was extremely friendly, had a perfect view of the ocean, and our riom was great. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and we enjoyed the balcony.
The area was fine, but we had to be awarw of our surroundings due to sketchy people. But they all left us alone. Felt very safe at the hotel. We traveled in December

Amazing stay! Very clean. Staff was amazing!
I wouldn’t bring kids as there’s a lot going on at night. Location is great! Can’t wait to go back!!
