A bit quirky but I like staying here. The Shamrock Cove is not a 5 star resort and is it's not the most glamorous place in town. However it is convenient, clean and comfortable. The decor dates back to another era, 1950s perhaps. But it is modern in that it has TV, AC, walk-in shower, microwave and mini-fridge. There is some traffic noise from Pine Street but not enough that I really noticed it. WAY LESS noisy than Motel 6! Check in is super fast and you can park right in front of your room.

DO NOT GO HERE. There was a hostile homeless person yelling in the parking lot and walking around constantly. Had to leave because felt extremely unsafe. The immediate area is not safe and on a loud and busy road. The staff were unwilling to help. Don't be deceived by the pictures.

We are sorry Dana you felt unsafe We do not allow people to come on property yelling homeless or not. Staff never seen or heard anyone yelling outside and were not informed of this. Had we been informed or heard such a thing a phone call would have been made to Ocala Police Department across the street from The Shamrock. While true we are on a busy street and with road construction it can get loud but does calm down at night. Again we are sorry you didn't feel safe here but we can assure you that it is very safe here. Safe Travels

I enjoyed both of my stays here very much! The gentlemen that run it are courteous, and helpful. Nice little quiet, and quaint place to relax.

Older property, close to downtown. Quiet no issues. Short overnight stay. Worked for me.
