Guests in the lobby speaking a foreign language with visible gun holsters, unfriendly staff and best of all, we got the room and saw at least 10 cockroaches and bugs roaming around. The room clearly had not been cleaned in weeks or months. We took pictures. Hair everywhere, disgusting kitchen and bath. There was a roach freshly smashed on the wall and we smashed a few more. Unbelievably gross. Third-world country experience. How can this lack of hygiene pass any health inspection? No apology from the unfriendly staff. Forced to leave as we were not going to risk catching bed bugs and have roaches crawl over us during the night. Will ask Expedia for refund and file a chargeback if they play hardball. Totally unacceptable!

Absolutely nothing the staff was one of the worst ones i have ever seen. I dont recommend this hotel at all

There is a lot to say about this hotel. I have traveled the world and lived in a third world country for a number of years. This property is just gross.
1. It STINKS. The vestibule, the first floor, elevator, third floor, and room each have a their own unique foul odors.
2. There was unusable, broken furniture in our room.
3. Every place that I saw: first floor, elevator, third floor, and room were filthy. Dirt caked on the floors, sticky spills in the hallways, bits of litter on the floors. We went to a nearby dollar store and Publix to buy a cheap mop, gloves, cleaning vinegar, and disinfectant spray. The vinyl floors had so many layers of dirt that the water wouldn’t come clean. Our bathroom towels had other people’s hair in them.
4. Two German cockroaches in our room.
And yes, I have pictures of it all. I called the corporate office to let them know the poor condition of their property. About two hours later there was a bang on our door with a shout. The employee standing there with a cell phone to her ear just said “I got a complaint.” Did not introduce herself, showed zero interest in providing customer service, smirked when I shared all of the issues listed above in this review and said “You wanna check out?”
No apologies for the state of the room or our discomfort, no just a smirk as if I was being ridiculous. We had evacuated to this hotel due to Hurricane Milton. The eye later passed directly over our house. Every hotel for hours was sold out- we couldn’t leave.

I am utterly shocked and disappointed by the experience my friends and I had at this hotel. We had booked three rooms for ourselves and two other families traveling with us, expecting a smooth and relaxing stay. Instead, what we encountered was nothing short of a nightmare.
To begin with, one of the rooms was not ready at 4:30 PM, which is already an hour and a half past the check-in time. We received a call at 5:30 PM saying the room was finally available, but by then, we were already on an excursion and couldn't return to the hotel. My friend was only able to check in after 10:30 PM—an exhausting end to a long day of travel from Miami.
Upon our arrival, we were horrified to discover that the hotel was infested with roaches. They were everywhere—absolutely everywhere—in the rooms, hallways, even the bedding. The rooms were filthy, with stained linens, broken duvets, and an overall lack of cleanliness. I took pictures and videos of the hotel's disgraceful condition to document this.
The front desk staff, particularly a lady named Patricia, was extremely rude and dismissive when we requested assistance. Not only did she offer no help, but she also made checking out and getting a refund unnecessarily difficult. Two of the families traveling with us were able to book alternative accommodations, but only at a much higher rate, leaving us scrambling for a solution.
