"Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them. "

"The place itself is nice and has a certain charm. Didn’t love the location/area though and lack of programming. Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. The place itself is well thought out and designed. "

"Pros: GREAT location with beautiful views right across the street from the ocean. Staff is very friendly. Loads of amenities (though you have to pay extra). Cons: Bungalows have ZERO light in the kitchen and minimal lighting in the room. We had to use our headlamp to cook. There is no way to have air circulation in the room if you don’t have the main sliding doors open while you sleep. Only one small bathroom window that cracks a few inches. "The hotel was fine. I would not consider it 5 Stars. The service was good. The room was small, it did not feel like we were staying in a Castle. The hotel does not have parking , you park 5 min away and they send a car to pick you up. Pack light, you will have issues with large luggage. The village does not allow anyone to park inside. I would consider spending less money in another hotel nearby. All and all, it was a good experience "

"The hotel is spotless, in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local sites. The proprietor, Ellen, is friendly and she makes you feel like you’re at home. We have stayed at this property before, last year, the reason we returned is because of the hospitality. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. If you ever need anything, there is always someone there to help. I would never think of going anywhere else."
