I paid £138 for 1 night as I was desperate. I would never go back to this place as it’s no palace. It has no breakfast included, no WiFi, no parking and no lift ( it’s five floors) the place is very very dated and needs a deep clean. I feel it’s easy to rob customers of their cash when people are desperate. The best thing about the palace is it’s situated on the main st overlooking the harbour ( I didn’t have a room with a view) I must say the bed was clean but very hard so no sleep for me. Safe to say I would stay well clear of the palace hotel

Quirky little place but clean and comfortable. No parking and no lift which was a bit of a hike to our top floor room. No wifi unless u buy a plan.

No lift. Had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Had to consolidate what we need into one small bay

We are sorry that your property was not suitable for your needs. We advertise that we do not have a lift so we are not sure why you would have expected one. We provided you with the lowest room of the type that you had booked. We have no association with the original property that you had booked where you claim was so bad that you could not stay.

I was able to get a room on short notice and really enjoyed meeting the staff. It was right in the city center which was exactly what I was looking for.

Very difficult to regulate the water temperature in the shower. Either scalding hot or ice cold. Hard to get clean under those conditions.
