Budget Hotels in Oaxaca, Oaxaca

"We came to Oaxaca for a friend’s birthday. We were a group of 9 people. Besides the hotel being so central and close to everything, super clean and beautiful, the staff is what made this hotel extra special for us. They went beyond the call of duty for us, always lovely, wether by serving us water and refreshments after coming back from a day of excursions, or taking care of every detail in our stay. This is a must stay for your stay in Oaxaca! "

"The place was great the rooms are basic but it’s a beautiful building in the heart of the action. The staff were great the pool was fun for the kids. Everything was walkable from it. "

"Clean, modern with very attentive staff. But feels a little corporate and cold. Doesn't have the Oaxacan charm that is evident in other hotels in the area. The lobby is open and has some chairs and couches, but not a place you would want to hang out in."

"Good hotel in a cute little neighborhood. It has more of a boutique-y vibe compared to a standard Marriott but I found it to be quite charming. The neighborhood is a bit trendy so if you’re looking for something more traditional, this might not be it. It’s about a 15-20 min walk from the city center/zocalo. They conveniently offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5mile radius, so that was a nice option. I can see how the surrounding area might be a bit sketchy but luckily we did not encounter...
