Wonderful place to stay. We will be going back. At first glance surrounding area left a bit to be desired...don't let that deter you. Much to see, easy walk to everything. Breakfast is fabulous. Thanks to Mario and staff for taking such good care of us.

A really comfortable stay in an excellent location. The hotel is close to a range of excellent dining options (including the hotel breakfast!) and popular sites around the town. The room and communal areas in the hotel were full of character and really enhanced our stay!

I want to publicly thank Mario and Nathalia (spelling?) for providing excellent Front Desk service. They were very kind, very helpful, and very patient with me. Nathalia even went next door to retrieve my laundry after the launderers had completely forgotten to wash and deliver my clothes!
I thought the room was perfect - good size, good storage, good shower and towels, comfortable bed and pillows.
The breakfasts were AMAZING, so delicious and provided generous portions. The coffee was excellent too.
The upstairs outdoor seating is really nice as a place to eat breakfast or bring in a late dinner from a local restaurant It is a communal space and I met other guests there.
I gave the Ayook Hotel 3 stars due to its location....a bit far from Centro...about 15 minutes? It is definitely walkable, but still a little far.
