Neat and tidy motel with nice staff. Nothing fancy but Oamaru is well worth visiting.

Disappointed
Posted 12 Mar 2024 on HotelsWe have been on holiday 3 weeks and have stayed in a couple of Bella Vista motels so we were disappointed with a few things.
Could not pay at property. Paid over the phone, no choice to use EFT-POS and charged $5 to pay on credit card.
Room was very small-had to put bags in bathroom.
Needs some Exit Mould on silicone seals in shower.
Charges $30 per hour for early or late check in.
No cooking facilities- this is a motel not a hotel.

Our facilities and room size are clearly indicated against our listings and you were supplied with the exact room you have requested. We do not hold bookings with out a valid credit card, payment can be taken at any time within 48 hours of your check in time as this is in line with our cancellation policy. We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time if a valid form of payment can not be provided.

Centre of town to restaurants,coffee shops, and to a few long walks to the old town and hilltops with great views.
The property had most requirements for me, except the news channels on TV, as in bbc world news and the fox and cnn channels, and free movie channels.

The room too small,it’s hard for two people cross to each other….not recommended

Welcome Staff was excellent (Nancy was lovely)!! It was the perfect place for a ‘home’ base while we explored the area.
