Immaculate private bathroom (no share), nice and firm bed, powerful heater, coffee maker, and blackout curtains. I was able to sleep deeply and rest. But make sure to place floor towel on the floor before taking a shower; it could be very slippery. It’s pretty convenient to got to UC Berkeley. The bus stop is right in front of the motel and you don’t have to transfer. Thank you!

Staff were very friendly and room seemed clean overall (except for mold/dirt around bathroom window frame). This is a very basic, old-fashioned motel in a not-so-nice part of Berkeley. It was fine for a one night stay for a good price. Free parking was a plus.

It was clean and comfortable. Felt safe and was in great location. Staff was nice. My critique is that there was no air conditioning. You just had a fan. Granted, it is the Bay Area and doesn’t get too hot. Also, if you wanted any shampoo or conditioner or soap you have to ask for it as it’s not in the room.

My husband and I were picking up our son from Summer School, we needed a place to stay for only one night and came across this hotel in Expedia. It’s a nice small hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom clean. Fast and easy check in and check out. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It’s a great option, and we highly recommend it.

Nice place to stay, in the heart of all things Berkeley! Easy walk to cute coffee shops and eateries. Asian, Mexican, and many other types of restaurants are a short walk. The price was great comparatively to bigger name hotels and motels.
