GOOD PLACE FOR A SHORT BREAK
Posted 10 Sep 2023 on HotelsVery good hotel in fine building in beautuful Rutland town not far from Oakham, Rutland Water, and Stamford. Room was a good size, ckean and quiet. Recrption area light and airy and good place for a drink or a bite to eat.All staff were polite and helpful. Good value for what we paid. Would recommend.

A true gem
Posted 15 Aug 2021 on HotelsA truly fabulous hotel, a charming character building in an excellent location. Our room looked over the square, perfect in every way. Although a historic building the facilities are completely modern and do not have any of the issues that some older hotels suffer from. Even the car park had plenty of room and there's a car park next door but one if ever the car park is full. The service in the restaurant is superb, both efficient and friendly and all the staff are chatty. The quality of the food is also excellent. We had to leave early due to a family emergency but we will definitely return.
