We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa for our trip to Bali, the apartment was huge, very well maintained and had everything we needed and more, it came with a butler, ours was Yudi, he was fantastic, everything we needed he sorted immediately, he would WhatsApp us restaurant suggestions, tours and what was happening in the resort, we really couldn't have asked for more from him. This place is an ideal relaxation destination, was a couple hours from all the hustle and bustle of Bali but that suited us and taxis were so cheap it didn't matter. Would highly recommend this resort!

Easy check in, relaxing and a place to come if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Food is excellent and the property is well maintained. The manager is approachable and ensures to provide guests with a great experience here. Thank you for our stay.

It was a lovely place to stay, loved the pool. Showers had grime in corners and needs proper cleaning. Kettle was leaking out and the replacement was the same. No proper bar fridge/fridge, thus was not able to store medication that needed to be kept in a fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and resonable price.

We're delighted that you enjoyed the pool, our friendly and helpful staff, and the great variety at breakfast.Regarding the issues you mentioned, we have already inspected all our kettles and fixed any that had issues to ensure a better experience for our guests. As for the fridge, we’d like to clarify that, as indicated on the card placed on top of it, we use in our hotel one of the world's best-selling minibars for 5-star hotels. These are generally sufficient for cooling drinks and have the added advantage of being silent, as they don’t use a compressor like home fridges. For guests needing to store medication or items at lower temperatures, we offer a regular fridge at our front office, as mentioned on the same card.We appreciate your comments about the white spots (calcification) of the shower head as this is caused by the hard water we have in Bali and we do regular treatment on it to ensure it meets our high standards.Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even more enjoyable stay in the future!

Sakala Resort, what a beauty! Stunning rooms, stunning hotel! A special thanks to Demmy and his team, I celebrated my Birthday whilst staying at Sakala last week and wow! A special Birthday breakfast with singing staff, a cake with candles and the most amazing food. Come home later that evening to Happy Birthday written on our bed in Banana leaf and red roses, absolutely stunning! Demmy and his team made our stay spectacular and we cannot thank them enough. Bali truly is beautiful.

The good things 1. The room of the hotel was clean and good. 2. There is a shuttle bus to the Bali collection shopping. The bad things: 1. The water of the swimming pool was so dirty and we could not swim. 2. The stuff members at the check-in counter didn’t explain about things in the hotel. 3. The staff members didn’t have enough hospitality attitude toward the guests.

However, we're truly surprised to hear about the swimming pool issues, since we had hundreds of other guests in the same days as your stay, and we did not receive any other comment. We have all day on duty several pool attendants and our pool pumps work 24/7, we also treat the pool every evening and vacuum every morning…We hope you raised this issue during your stay so we can check it. Perhaps there was some vegetation falling as our pools are outdoors and are very large. Your comments regarding the check-in process are noted. You checked in at 15:22 which is our peak time and the receptionist that attended you is one of our best. It may happen that when the reception is very busy in the peak time, we shorten the explanation of the resort to not make other guests…However, all the information of the resort is displayed in the rooms (directory, map, menus, facilities, and services…). We don’t understand your comment about the attitude of our staff, since our hospitality service is the category that usually gets the best reviews. Please send us a private message so we can learn more about this issue and address it immediately. We’re committed to making improvements based on your feedback and hope we can provide you with a better experience if you choose to stay with us again in the future. The resort staff was amazing and the breakfast had a great selection of both western style and Indonesian dishes.
