Relaxing 5 Star Retreat in Nusa Dua

We booked to stay 4 nights at the Bale for some relaxation and to play a couple of days of golf. From the minute we arrived we were treated to the most attentive service. We were helped to download an app which allowed us to communicate with staff 24/7 and they were always so prompt. They recommended restaurants at our request and booked all transport for us. The Villa itself (Villa 33) was spacious and beautiful. It had a pool, outdoor day bed, coffee machine, gorgeous bath tub with tv, outdoor and indoor shower (we only used the outdoor shower in the garden), the bed was soooo comfortable. Large TV in the main room and stereo system, AND it was so peaceful, we didn't hear another soul, only birds and frogs. We ate at Faces Restaurant and also had two breakfasts there which were delicious, would totally recommend. Staff were so attentive. On day 2 we had a family emergency and had cut our stay short to fly home. Everyone was so helpful in cancelling all our bookings and making it as easy as possible for us. We will be definitely be returning to The Bale but next time for longer. I would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone wanting an adults only escape with 5 star service and accomodation.

Best holiday ever. It was so relaxing and all of our needs were met. The spa, which we used a lot, was superb. The ladies so friendly, attentive and excellent at their job. All members of the staff were friendly and helpful without exception. Our accommodation was so opulent, we felt like millionaires. Such a great private villa. The food was so good and we cant wait to return next year. Thank you.

Where do I start! First, let me start by saying the staff were amazing! Anything you need, just let them know; they are overly accommodating! This trip was a birthday trip for my other half so I booked the flower bath and had them bring a cake to our room. Not only did they make sure everything had gone smooth, they sung Happy Birthday as they delivered the cake. He was head over hills, lol! The floating breakfast was also amazing! Decent food, too! Next!!! The room is GORGEOUS!!!! The way you enter the room is flawless. Nevertheless, I felt like a king entering his palace as I walked in. The private pool was everything! I just can’t get enough of this place. Let me just say, this is home! No one else can have my business.

I’ve stayed at the Bale a few times and the private villas and pool are a great concept but it’s getting very tired. Last visit there were boards lifting in my suite (trip hazard), the internet didn’t work for half of my stay and for $600 per. night AUD that’s not acceptable. The breakfast is lovely but room service is a classic case of the menu doesn’t match the product when a premium price is being charged. Sadly the bigger chains look much better value for the price v quality.

We have addressed the lifted boards which are getting fixed by today by our Engineering team. Sadly, our records show no report regarding the internet. Otherwise, our IT could have checked immediately, and we can even provide our guests with extra portable WiFi devices when needed. Thank you for your positive comment regarding the breakfast. Great stay

Even before we arrived the resort was helping us organise our stay. The staff certainly make this resort. They are clearly very proud and have every reason to be. We stayed in a double pavilion with friends, we had a great space to spend time together and enough privacy for times in between. The private pool was huge. The spa was excellent, the treatments were amazing. Do yourself a favour and book something, anything! The use of the resort car for local trips is genius and made things very easy. The restaurant was able to adapt to our dietary requirements and even went off menu for us. Adults only meant peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

Staff redefine hospitality from friendly to TALENTED. The housekeeping, front desk, kitchen and management were like nothing I've ever experienced before. We felt at home! The photos don't do this beautiful property justice. Easily one of the top properties in Bali, amazing value.
