Exceptional staff, lovely facilities and just a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast choice was excellent and we heard other guests remarking on how good their evening meal had been. We have re-booked already.

Wonderful, country hotel

The bedrooms were set away from the road and overlooked a field full of bluebells. There is a seating area in front of the rooms, where you can have drinks or a meal or you could eat/drink at the hotel bar/restaurant.
The room had tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
W will definitely return.

Posted 31 Aug 2020 on HotelsOur stay welcome/arrival, food and cleanliness were all fine. Bed was awful like sleeping on planks of wood. Then we were embarrassed at checkout they were insisting we hadn’t paid for room when we had even after showing our receipt they were trying to get us to pay again, drinks charged to our table that wasn’t ours. On checking our online banking for drinks we paid for at the bar some of the receipts were double the price of any drinks we had. Absolutely disgusted!
