It was a decent stay and the staff were very nice and helpful. Close to the JR station and also a bus stop outside the hotel.

somewhat past its glory days but convenient to town and walks,the river and harbour,great view of Mt Fuji

Numazu riverside hotel
Posted 10 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe booked two rooms: a triple room with 3 single beds and a river view, and a double room with a mountain view. While the triple room was quite good, the double room on the 11th floor was very small and had a heavy cigarette smell, making it impossible to sleep. We moved to a room on the 9th floor next to the kids' room, and had to pay additional money for a room with the same mountain view but with two single beds. Although the cigarette smell was less intense, the curtains were dusty. This hotel is not family-friendly; you're better off staying in Mishima.

We had a wonderful stay. We received a free drink every night of our stay. We were so happy to borrow the bicycles for 3 hours to pedal around the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was we couldn’t get a nice big bed. We had two single beds.

Nice hotel. One thing it was hot in the room, had window opened the entire time.no AC but they do offer a table fan. Everything is clean. Great breakfast!
