The staff at Simon’s are amazing, very hospitable, friendly and helpful.
They are the best source for finding local treasures (shopping, restaurants, activities) and will go out of their way so you enjoy Tonga.
Don’t forget to read the floors
The restaurant is amazing, you cannot leave without trying the banana split

I love my stay at Simon's Place just that cannot rest properly with dogs fighting . Breakfast was excellent . Just a suggestion maybe put bath mats in the shower area as I was scared that I will slip and fall . But overall my stay was good .

The staff at Simon's Place are absolutely fantastic and would go above and beyond whenever you ask for help.
Tip for tourists: if you need to contact the hotel before your arrival, the easiest way is to send them a message on Facebook.

SImon's Place is two blocks away from the coast, within easy walk of the heart of the shopping area. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A small hotel rather than a towering complex and rooms have a courtyard complete with clothesline

Nice large rooms, all functional. A low-key and general pleasant family-style atmosphere. Great kitchen. Feeling at home

I booked this place partly based on the pictures, it seemed that there was a nice tropical garden out the back of the rooms, this is not the case, that tropical outlook is actually the neighbouring property and has been scraped clean of every last piece of vegetation and has had dozens of tiny homes put there which were used for the recent Pacific leaders forum. also didnt help that during the day every day there was a job seekers convention going on in the main part of the building, im sure that doesnt happen every week so other people will be luckier. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly.

Perfectly comfortable place to base ourselves while we explored Tongatapu. Staff were absolutely wonderful, a pleasure to deal with.
There is however no BBQ Area as stated on expedia, and we'd bought some meat & vegetables to cook for dinner 1 night & found this out teh hard way. The kitchen did cook our chicken for us however & it was beautiful, however due to a busy night they weren't able to do this until about 9.30pm at night. Not a major in the larger scheme of things. :)
