Nice an clean rooms, really friendly stuff, a kitchen to use. We got e free taxi deive. Highly recommended

The rooms are uniquely designed and furnished, very clean and comfortable with a lot of character and the staff and owners very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend Platinum Class! I would also recommend taking a taxi to and from the city center since it’s a couple of blocks off the beaten path.

Kind of off the beaten path.
It is close to town.
Would not stay there again.
No English spoken.
Did have a nice breakfast for 2 for $7

Basic spacious room.
Posted 6 Apr 2018 on HotelsNice and spacious room for overnight stay on our way to the Amazon Jungle. It is a taxi ride from town center, $1.50. We came from Colombia very tired and needed an overnight stay for our trip to the Amazon Jungle the following day. This was the perfect place.

Nice Hotel away from the noise of the downtown

Pros: The Platinium Hotel is away from the crazy noise of the downtown but close enough that you can walk there. It's also close to the park.
We were greeted by the owners daughter who was very helpful and informative about Lago Agrio and the hotel. Our room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was lovely and had a very large shower. The hotel offers meals too which is handy. We visited the park and walked the wooden pathway. We saw monkeys climbing in the trees, many different plants, trees and flowers, an indigenous exhibit, live reptiles behind glass windows, toucans and parrots in the trees and tapirs wandering through the bush. Afterwards we wandered the downtown but were happy to get back to the hotel for dinner and a good night's sleep.

Highly recommended in Lago
Posted 13 Apr 2019 on HotelsIf you are in Lago Agrio I recommend you this hotel. Room is very functional, big, with 2 double beds, nicely decorated. Breakfast is tasty. Personal is very gentle.
