The location was perfect for my trip. I travelled to Nottingham by train for an event at the Motorpoint arena. The Ibis is about 5 minutes walk from the Motorpoint, and less than 10 minutes from the train station. The hotel is exactly what I've come to expect from Ibis - clean, comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. I would reccomend this property for anyone needing a hotel in the area

A budget hotel that was comfortable, clean and convenient for its city centre location. The choices and quality of the buffet breakfast were very good.

Hotel communal areas appointed to a good standard. Twin room was OK, clean and everything worked as expected but beds were very small no doubt due to the size of the rooms. Bathroom was pod type small but did the job fine. Considering the location the hotel was excellent value for money and I would stay again.

I’ve been trying to rearrange this booking for the last 3 weeks without success. Communication from the hotel had been nonexistent. Very poor.

Even thou we checked in and pre-allocated our rooms because we could not go to our rooms as they had not be cleaned we told the receptionist we would be very late as going to a 50th Birthday. When we got to the hotel they had sold our pre-paid rooms. They then tried to get us in to another hotel but nothing was available. So they taxied us out to Derby. The taxi finally arrived and we got to Derby at 4am in the morning and the replacement hotel would have given faulty towers a run for its money! Yea they refunded our rooms but it totally ruined the weekend. What gets me there was no Manager, Deputy Manager or Duty Manager and we had to wait until Monday for all this to be sorted. Refunding the rooms went know where near making me happy.
