"We enjoyed our stay at 5 Vintage and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Sofia. The staff were incredibly welcoming and lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable with some nice touches in the shared kitchen. We were right in the center of town which made getting around really easy. Great place to stay if you want to explore Sofia."

"Second time I have stayed here. Different room both times. Its simple, very basic, but has everything you need. Remember this place is super cheap for a capital city and that's what you get, cheap reasonable accommodation. Yes the bathroom is separate but private nevertheless. Please don't expect ANY glamour. Yes it could do with a huge makeover."

"The price is almost amazing, very clean, prepped meaning hot water was turned on and the AC was on and set to 23 just about perfect. I love the self check in to me this is first class. You have to book online and at the date you receive the instruction. I will be coming back. "

"Please do not stay here when you arrive Sofia at night. You will not find it and if find it there is nó reception welcome you. Room is very basic. Toilette smelled bad and not have a really shower. Except private room, hostels may be much better and cheaper. Far away from center and not easy get to by public transportation. Communication is difficult. Please do not stay here if you are looking for cheap hotel. Overall is bad so it is expensive for everything ."

"In the booking confirmation from Expedia it states there is a number to contact the guesthouse on, at least 24 hours before arrival. We contacted the property 2 days before, and arranged a time for arrival. Unfortunately on arrival at Koprivshtitsa, we were unable to find it as there didn't appear to be street names except for the main roads. I contacted the number again and was texted an address (40 pop bogomil - which was different from the one given by Expedia). We asked for more information...

"I booked this hotel last minute for perhaps cheapest price from available in internet to enjoy skiing in Borovets for 2 days. I am very satisfied with this affordable choice, because driving to/from borovets is easy by microbus going each 1/2 hour from Samokov bus station for price 1.30 BGN only. I enjoyed also visit to Samokov Monastery - service each evening at 17:00 - right after skiing."

"Stay here at your own risk. Tried to arrange pickup of keys 24 hrs in advance as directed in the booking info. Called the number provided numerous times the day prior but no answer, ever. Expedia tried to call, again no answer. Sent chat messages via Expedia app to hotel, no response. Landed in Sofia, again called hotel, no answer. "AVOID!! This is not a hotel, but a run down apartment. On arrival I was presented with an invalid phone number stuck to the front door window. After finally figuring this out and finding the correct phone number on expedia, I had a very long wait (in the freezing cold) for a grumpy host who eventually arrived and told me checkin was before 5pm (expedia said 1130, it was now 9:45) He then tried to put me in a tiny single room although I’d paid for a triple.
