The property was fine and we always stay at the Travelodge Oceanfront when we come to Virginia Beach.

Pictures are from when it was built. Looks nice and new. Bathroom was tiny. Met with some roaches on the sink.

The view from the balcony was breathtaking, but the elevator was incredibly slow—it felt like waiting for a bus. The bathroom was very small, especially compared to other, more spacious hotels we've stayed at nearby for a lower price. The online photos didn’t quite match the actual space, which was a bit disappointing. If you’re considering spending on this hotel, you might find better value elsewhere with more room for your money. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and professional during check-in.

This is a review for Travelodge by Wyndham on 19th street in Virginia beach. Let's just say there is only one good thing about this hotel and it located on beach front. The hotel does not serve contintental breakfast, it only have a few drinks- no food. The rooms are located in narrow halls resembling a crappy apartment. The path is dark and narrow on the way to the room. Upon walking in the room, you immediately observe how tiny and filthy the rooms are. There is grime and dirty all over the wall trim. There is no stove. The microwave is set on a piece on countertop that is unsupported and the counter is sinking. They attached a piece of wood beneath the sagging counter to support it, but the piece of wood was not drilled into studs, but only drywall. It is nearly ripped out. The bedroom is so tiny that you have to side step to fit into the bathroom. The bed is less than one foot from the bathroom frame. The bathroom is an even bigger horror story. First off- there is no sink in the bathroom; you can't hardly sit on the toilet without your knees touching the bath tub. I'm only 5"10 190lbs and my knees almost touched the bath tub. The moment you step out of the shower you are mere inches from the toilet. There is mold under the the attached soap dish in the shower. The shower curtain had mold. There is only one elevator and it is rickety. I give this place one star, because they worked hard to earn it. At the booking of this hotel in July 2024, continental breakfast was list

I didn’t like that there was black mold on the shower curtains also black mold all over in the bathroom the bathroom was also extremely small the toilet was way too close to the shower I had to keep asking for towels because I would leave the dirty ones in the hallway and they never replenished them the elevator was extremely slow and was broken for a whole day during my stay the location was perfect but the quality was poor

The young gentlemen who helped me check in was very quick and respectful been coming to this same hotel for the past 4 years and the penthouse is what we always book cause it’s so spacious! Especially with a daughter who uses a wheelchair

My room was filty. Front dest had someone to supposedly clean it, and it was still filty. Tub was dirty, floor and counter top was nasty. Tv had a lot of static in it. Reported it, but my whole stay, i was told the maintenance man was going to look at it. No one ever came. I have pictures of hiw filty it wasif anyone would like to see them. I am requesting a refund.

Small parking spots, could have been cleaned better of maybe leave a broom in the rooms to be able to sweep the rooms when sand gets in.
