Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Customer Service
My recent stay at Kasa Highland Park Dallas left much to be desired. While the unit itself was modern, the lack of a key fob for elevator access created a frustrating and inconvenient experience. My family and I were left waiting in the cold with our children, unable to access our room. Attempts to reach out to management went unanswered, adding to the disappointment.
Additionally, the parking situation was chaotic, we spent a lot of time trying to figure hour out where to park, as no clear instructions were provided. We received our assignment at 4:00 AM although we checked in around 10:30 PM. Safety was another concern: the deadbolt on our door was removed, and the parking lot gates were wide open, accessible to anyone in the area.
Overall, the lack of responsiveness and attention to guest needs made this stay far below expectations. Improvements in customer service and security measures are necessary for future guests.

Complicated to find unit. Kasa says available 24 hrs but I was on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up

Overall the property was fine. Nothing super great or bad. The only specific feedback that I would give: there was only one lock on the door and it could be opened on the keypad from the outside. They need to add a second deadbolt that can only be locked from the inside -- or a chain or something other way to secure the door from inside. I did not feel totally safe having a door that could be unlocked by anyone on the outside with access to the code. Otherwise my stay was fine.

Spacious with a nice kitchen. However, one TV in living room and low water pressure. Plenty of restaurants close by with SMU college students in the vicinity.

Poor water flow out of the showerhead. The shower tub has permanent stains. Two light bulbs were out.
