"We enjoyed our stay. Nice modern and well furnished property. Quiet location and long beach 5min drive away. Only thing was need to bring own linen as only bottom sheet and duvet provided and wasn’t stipulated on website. Comfy beds. Would stay here again. "

"Lovely accommodation, close to lovely nearby Takapuna beaches and cafes. Beautiful pool that my kids loved swimming in. The grounds were lovely. Overall an awesome stay and would most definitely come back here again "

"We had a very nice stay. The rooms are a great size and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the swing set out back. The pool isn’t open but we weren’t planning on using it. KFC and Woolworths are very close, which was convenient. There is no A/C but our room had 3 fans which really helped. "

"A friend and I stayed for 3 nights as I had a surgery nearby and we are from out of town. The staff were friendly, the cleaners were friendly and did an exceptional job. The property (the suite and the building and garden areas) were all beautiful and well kept. Very happy with our stay and experience."

"Booked here for a concert we were going too. When we got to the accommodation the lovely lady let us know we had been upgraded! Its an absolutely lovely place to say and pretty close to restaurants and a grocery store!"

"The building is 122 years old and you can see that But it’s fairly well kept up and has lots of charm The room was large, with a very nice bathroom The living area had a large three piece couch and a nice balcony with a view of the ocean The staff helped us out by bringing us a toaster and microwave, as the restaurant was temporarily closed Overall it was a great place to stay "

"The magnificent and spectacular view of the harbor, bay, and bridge made up for any deficiencies with the property. Check in was smooth but staff was short and not overtly friendly. Room was clean. While there is a small combined washer/dryer unit, it cannot realistically be utilized as it takes ~6 hours to complete the process, is extremely loud, and is right at the entrance to the bathroom from the main bedroom, making it impossible to sleep with the machine on. "We were very happy with our stay. Super convenient from the airport (we took the very short bus ride). We easily fit 4 of us (including our bags and a travel crib for our youngest) for one night. It was a bit tight perhaps but totally fine. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again."

"Very good tourist hotel. Service and staff were marvelous. They worked hard to exceed service levels. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive. The only negative I have to offer about the property itself is the harsh direct lighting in the rooms. It would have been much better to have some table lamps for the night stands and the desk. The hotel is wedged between the redeveloped waterfront (good) and the hostelries and low-end shops catering to younger, less affluent travelers (not so great). The street it sits on looks as if it’s about to be redeveloped (also good). "

Outstanding, but bring an adapter!

"Fantastic valet, and concierge team. Very proactive. Great room. The only downside was that there are no connections in the rooms for USB ports or British or American plugs and they have no adapters. We were able to go out and buy one fortunately."
