"Unfortunately, the pool was closed and we are unsure why because we want to take our 10-month-old daughter to the pool for the first time however the bed was rather hard but for a brand new property that’s been open for a little over a month. This property is fantastic. I do hope that they keep it up. Keep pest control going. Keep dust down. Hallways are very quiet pillows could be a little firmer where they could give you four pillows versus three in the king room, but I have nothing bad to say. "

"We had a big room with 2 beds and a kitchen. Our room was nice and clean, and a great find for the price. No frills, but what you need. The breakfast is coffee, granola bars, hard-boiled eggs, and oranges. "

"We recently stayed at this historic inn during an impromptu anniversary date and it was nothing short of magical. When we travel we love to find historic inns and this may be the most lovingly maintained in its original glory — every detail felt like a beautiful step back in time. The location is unbeatable and we opted to stay at the inn rather than explore the area for that day and evening. You walk out the door to Taughanock Falls and the lake across the road. The natural beauty surrounding the property is breathtaking. The outdoor dining and firepit seating areas overlook the lake and kept us there for both dinner and drinks after. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was warm and helpful. We are hoping to make this a yearly tradition and can’t wait to return and maybe even stay in one of the top floor rooms being renovated! There’s no doubt they will be spectacular. "

"We stay here overnight on our way to North Carolina Beaches. The staff is always accomodating and friendly.The rooms are well cleaned, and the beds are comfy. Breakfast is so-so, but there are other nearby options if that is important to you. There is a trolley ride around town, which the kids love. Historic downtown is within walking distance, with lots of restaurants and activities to do. "

"I had a great stay — the rooms were well-kept, clean, and quiet, which made for a relaxing experience. One of the highlights was the private patio attached to the room — a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some fresh air. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay!"

"Lovely hotel. I was traveling with my service dog. The first room I was offered was not made up when I went into the room. Back down to the check-in desk, a different person took care of me this time. When I informed the front desk, the room was not made up. They told me that they typically place guests with their service dog on the second floor and that after checking it appeared, none of the rooms were made up on the second floor. The gentleman hesitated, as if I was supposed to wait until one of the rooms was cleaned and the original guest services stepped in and placed me on the third floor. Just an observation, overwhelmingly check-in at large hotels seem to be staffed with less than friendly staff. I believe I could mention one hotel recently where I had a positive front desk experience with someone that was very friendly other than that, they are frequently aloof, and cold acting. I believe hospitality needs to be emphasized for front desk. The hotel itself was wonderful interestingly enough a janitor walking by was the one who informed me where to walk my dog front desk didn’t offer that information. The hotel is a very nice facility with great food options I would consider staying again. I’m just hopeful. Front desk is more friendly"
