Not a knock out - it’s a lock out!
Posted 20 Jul 2024 on HotelsHotel locked on arrival. No advance warning that reception was not staffed. Supposed to open at 3 so went back then. No one turned up. Called a number stuck on the door and eventually got instructions on how to enter via the back door using a key pad number. Pity nobody thought to email that in advance. All in all, a total shambles. A place to avoid.

Great Location
Posted 27 Aug 2019 on HotelsTired looking public areas but the rooms were fine, shutters worked well, busy road but it didn't keep us awake, nice breakfast and an excellent location for walking straight into town

Used tissues dropped on the floor & a lots of bugs flier into the room. It was a terrible experience for us. The best part would be its location if you don’t mind the room’s comfort..

Hotel in convenient location near train station just outside the city wall. Staff were very pleasant. Room very clean and comfortable, but slightly dated. Priced very reasonable and included breakfast.

Great hotel in good location

BUT the hotel messed up our booking, we were booked & paid for 3 nights with hotels.com but inexplicably got thrown out after 2 & had to stay elsewhere!!!
