A well located ryokan close to Nikko-Tosho-gu.
Posted 9 Apr 2024 on HotelsNikko Tokino Yuu was a convenient hotel for an overnight visit to Nikko to see the shrine and tomb of Tokagawa Ieyasu at Nikko-Tosho-gu.
with simple Ryokan style rooms and a modest basement onsen, this was a comfortable hotel for a night.

Customer service was excellent. We were greeted by friendly staff. Instructions for room and onsen were helpful and informative. Location is great. We arrived in the evening and it was nice to see the building lit up and easy to find. I would highly recommend this stay.

Perfect place in Nikko
Posted 23 Aug 2023 on HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay at Nikko Tokino Yuu. The room was spotless, roomy and decently equipped. The service was really friendly and helpful even if we do not speak Japanese very well. I especially loved the large public bath. It was quiet and well-maintained, and had a view of a small garden. When I was enjoying a bath there, it started to rain lightly. I could smell the rain and see the plants get a little wet - it was the best feeling ever.
If we were ever back in Nikko, we would come back to this place!

Excellent property, excellent location and exceptionally professional staff. I highly recommend the city of Nikko as well as the perfectly managed hotel.
