In a peaceful country location even though on a main road.
Just a short walk to a bus stop for both directions. Close access to Kanmangafuchi Abyss for a pleasant walk.

Charming hotel
Posted 30 Dec 2019 on HotelsIts a quaint hotel, a little out of the way of downtown Nikko but well worth it - if you have a Nikko World Heritage Pass, you can take a bus for free about 300 meters from the entrance. The staff is great, and they have their own outdoor hot spring bath, which gives it a unique charm. The only downside is that the pillows are not very soft, even by Japan standards. Could use a replacement.
Its a bit dated, but for a small town hotel, it should be expected and is part of the local charm.

Great place for an overnight getaway from Tokyo
Posted 28 Oct 2019 on HotelsThis place is a good hotel off the beaten path. It is close to the Nikko Toshogu shrine but far enough away to avoid the crowds. A short Bus ride from the station in Nikko and the shrines. About a 40 min bus ride to Kegon falls. There is a restaurant that does breakfast and dinner with a reservation. The property includes an identical bath. Plenty of parking if you drive.
