"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. "Please note that the staffof Sinharaja Forest gate complained that thaey are not getting the money when we book feom expedia. I would kindly request you to make sure they get the money of the booking. I and my family thougrouly enjoyed the stay at Sinharaja forest Gate. The staff is 2100% dedicated and recommend to any who want to have a calm quiet stay in Sinharaja...."

"A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good."

"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. They did offer up accomodation at another resort, however it was far inferior and had poor reviews. This then meant that rather than relaxing and enjoying our final day in Sri Lanka, we had to pack up and move to different accommodation for the final night. What made the whole experience worse was that rather than issuing me a full refund promptly, the manager Jayomi took a long time to resolve the issue fully and has ultimately left me out of pocket. The accomodation itself was beautiful, but it was a very disappointing way to end the trip. Particularly given the way it was handled so poorly with management and Expedia. "
