"Room was spacious for us, 2 adults and 2 kids. AC system kept the room cool during the 90° heat outside. Having a table that fit 4 people was a plus because it makes eating easier and it helped our kids do schoolwork on their laptops. This property has the toilet and shower separate which we liked. Washer and dryer in room with detergent included. Location was not the best just because there were no train or bus stations close by. Nishiki Market was a 15 min walk. Kyoto station is a 10...

"It’s a ways away from Kyoto Station so good luck getting too and from with luggage (you can take the karasuma line from Kyoto station and walk about 20 minutes and mostly even sidewalk). "

"Great property in walking distance to multiple stations, shopping areas including the Nishiki market and the Nijo Palace. I also ran to the Imperial Palace and gardens easily enough. Accommodation was big enough for family of 4. The area is quiet and felt very safe. Room was very clean and amenities all supplied. "

"This aparthotel is great. It’s a perfect place for 2 adults and maybe 2 small children. We had four adults so it was a little bit tight. Another thing I wish they would have is a dryer function on the washing machine. "

"Modern and clean, the rooms are nicely laid out and come with easy to read instructions. Although a little on the smaller size, the rooms are cozy. While there were no laundry facilities available in our room, a laundromat was nearby."

"This place was really a quaint apartment. Has everything to cook for yourself plus a washing machine for clothes. Close to train and subway stations. Also a food co-op with the cheapest prices in Japan"

"We are a family of 3 and this apartment was perfectly located and equipped for our stay. Having a washing machine allowed us to pack light. We had ample space to move around after a busy day of sightseeing. The metro or train is a short walk away, down a quaint quiet street. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. "

"Great find!! I'm astounded what you get for your money. Huge room, by japanese standards, great amenities, friendly, helpful staff with good English. I hugely recommend this place, especially if you are staying more than a few days in Kyoto. Also well located, within walking distance of Gion and many shops across the river. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, cheap or otherwise. Best place we have stayed in Japan so far. "

"An amazing experience given the apartment had a private onsen, but the multiple rooms were amazing along with a decent sized fridge free washing machine and coffee machine. Everything about the room was just amazing though next time I’ll bring friends to share all the space with seeing as it holds up to 8 people it would be the perfect headquarters for a longer trip"

"This place was perfect for the 3 of us. Lots of room to relax and a great bath. The interior design and Japanese room made the stay feel very Kyoto and the room has a bunch of natural light. Location is amazing, only a few steps to Nishiki market, there were a ton of great local food options really close and a little further to the bus stop. Only issue I had was they sent the check in instructions in Japanese so I missed that we needed to check in at a different location. I'm not sure how...

"The property had modern amenities and it was a good size for our family of 6. It also had everything you need in the kitchen. It was in a great location close by bus stop. However, it requires a thorough cleaning. The windowsills were dusty. The curtains did not work. The shower was FILTHY with mildew and mold growing on the tiles and shower door. We had to buy a shower slipper and showered with it. The tub was also slimy and we were not able to use it to enjoy the zen garden. "

"We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very nice. We had a couple of issues with the room but they fixed them quickly. We are a family of 4 and found the bed space ok but it would've been better to have a bunk bed instead of the 2 singles because one of the singles had to be used as seating for the dining table. The other 2 full-sized beds were fine."

"Aside from a strange check-in experience (check-in is done entirely over the internet or with the help of an off-site concierge contacted through a tablet in the lobby), Minn was an enjoyable hotel.
