Mixed experience
Posted 20 Sep 2016 on HotelsThe hotel's facilities was very good. The service and management was not as good.
Breakfast was included in the price but empty dishes was not filled up - so if you are late your choices are limited and was not plenty in the first place.
It didn't add to the experience when dry dust cleaning of the floors was ongoing during breakfast.
The bar has vodka and whisky- the bar keeper hadn't heard of Gin&tonic.
Mainly Chinese and Russian guests.
You will be required to leave your passport in the reception during your stay.
Laundry service was inexpensive, good and effective.
The pool on 5th floor was just a pool- no sun beds or anything else that could have made it a place you like to spend time in :-(
Location is too far from the beach area to walk - 5 minutes in taxi - but not a problem. Walking distance to the local market.
I got a good deal ~50% discount and for that price I think it's good value but without discount prices I will stay in hotel with walking distance to the beach next time.

Disappointing
Posted 14 Jan 2016
Pros: The reception staff were very friendly.
Cons: The hotel was supposed be non smoking, but people smoked throughout the hotel. The pool could be heated.
Location: Location was good
We were very disappointed with this hotel. While the room was clean the common areas were not. Glass topped tables in foyer were not wiped clean each day. The windows in the breakfast area were very dirty. Room service was a nightmare to organize as no-one could speak English. The hotel appeared a bit 'unloved'

Don't bother with Bavico
Posted 18 Dec 2015 on HotelsVisiting family about 500m away from hotels. Staff insist that the place was 2km and want to force taxi. Great new hotel, but there are new better hotels on Tran Phu area. Don't bother coming here.

Nice clean hotel, poor staff training
Posted 14 Dec 2015 on HotelsBavico is a brand new hotel that is sligly tuck away from Tran Phu road. Its close to Dam market that is famous in Nha Trang. The location is ideal for people who wants to be closer to local people while still enjoy close proximity to the beach. Buffet is mediocre, plenty of choices, lots of food. staffs at bavico was dishonest when asking for distance (use google map) before asking for taxi. Overall, staff reponses are slow, not what you expect from a 2-stars hotel let alone 4.
Final word: stay here is you want a nice view and no accodendation from staffs.

Lovely new hotel, but staff not up to speed yet.
Posted 10 Aug 2015 on HotelsThe hotel itself was lovely, despite being a little away from the centre of the action in Nha Trang. Not all amenities were complete at the time of our stay which was a little disappointing. The main disappointment was the level of service in the hotel. This was our last stop in Vietnam, so after having amazing service everywhere else we stayed, it was a little disappointing that there was such a low level of service here. Presuming this is because the hotel is very new, so obviously a lot of inexperienced staff. Needs some strong experienced management in there to get things up to speed. Front counter staff were friendly and helpful with good English, but nobody else in the hotel was. We tried to order drinks at the pool bar and have them charged to the room but were told this is not possible. Front counter told us we could do this. Anyway, again I say the hotel itself was lovely and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby with English speaking (or at least friendly) staff.

LOULOU.
Posted 2 Aug 2015 on HotelsFridge not plugged in. Staff could not understand english. The experience was very unsatisfactory. Nothing was finished. Maybe in a few years when the hotel is complete. Would take a lot for us to return to this horel.

Unfinished, should not be open yet.
Posted 20 Feb 2015
Pros: Hotel staff were amazing, tried really hard to make our stay pleasant. But didn't make up for horrible hotel facilities.
Cons: Finish the hotel
Location: Good location, heaps to do.
Pool, gym, spa, roof top all not finished. Construction going on everywhere loud and disrupting. Someone walked in to our room with out knocking then appoligised (horrible timing, super awkward) Shower was not hot. Wifi only worked in the loby.
This hotel will be absolutely amazing when finished, but it was a total disappointment and ruined our last few days in Nha Trang.
