The hotel itself was beautiful. Loved the bar area along with the view of the water and boats. Only complaint is the refrigerator in the room must have shut off in the middle of the night and our food went bad.

My first time back in Newport in 59 years. The town and former Naval Base has changed a good bit. More than pleased with fact the Newport Hotel and Marina was so convenient to the wedding venue, could accommodate my needs with a walk in shower, and had such a great staff!! Hotel was a little outdated and in some disrepair (our room had some decor on the wall falling, windows were not cleaned and was not a clear view) and room dirtier than expected (we found clumps of hair on the floor upon check in). Area was perfect to be close to the wharf and downtown, but not worth the price.
