The hotel was probably luxurious back in the days but is very outdated now. The service was more like a 3*. Very overpriced, it cost £18 for 2 takeaway coffees, a bottle of water and a Ribena. I would say the bed was very comfortable, however the walls are that thin you can hear conversations next door. Unfortunately, we would not return.

Great check in very quick and friendly. Used spa and pool before check in which was nice but felt like things are due to be updated. This continued when getting to the room. Overall nice stay but maybe be time to modernise

Shame I booked 3 room for a night. Which it was a better 48hrs

The Celtic manor resort has gone downhill so badly. From our first to last experience, we were shocked at the quality in so many areas. To think that presidents have stayed here is baffling. The pool and changing rooms are filthy. None of the lockers work, it smells, and the pool has so much chlorine I couldn’t see. The food is very average. The bar staff don’t know how to make a cocktail. Everything is overpriced. The room was clean, but the bed was so uncomfortable, and the walls were paper thin. Slightly better than a holiday inn. There are kids running around unattended all hours of the day and night. Even in the bars. They even had a really good pianist in one bar that was piped through broken speakers so he sounded like a dying robot. There was beer bottles and rubbish in the potted plants. It’s like nobody really cares anymore, and the place is slowly turning into a cheap motel for people with kids to let their little monsters run free while they drink overpriced cider. Not staying here again.
