Location suited me Quiet comfortable room. Breakfast not good - I wish that I had avoided it.

Hotel appeared tired. Both common spaces as well as my room incl bathroom. The gym was a reason for choosing the hotel, due to a need to do exercises post surgery, but it was out of commission, which I wasn't made aware of ahead of the trip. Breakfast choices were of low quality: coffee, sausages, beans.

Hotel is quirky, had everything we need and more, includes a fridge and a microwave. Location suits our needs. Right outside St James Park, 10 minute walk to arena and shops in-between

Very loud. Room wasn't clean, would not recommend!

For the price of the room I have stopped in far better hotels for less, the room could do with a lick of paint and the tiles in the bathroom were rather shabby also the noise from the Stack across the road meant you couldnt get to sleep until after midnight so if you had small children or needed an early start it could be a problem. On the other hand the staff were friendly, polite and helpful
