I don't know where to begin! Firstly the communication regarding our stay - you cannnot get to speak to anyone to ask any questions/raise any concerns. No-one answers the phone and when they do, they just tell you that someone will phone you back, which they don't. They don't reply to any emails either. I didn't receive details of how to access the property until 2pm on the day of arrival, which considering we were already travelling by this point was stressful to say the least. I was extremely worried that we wouldn't receive these details and be stranded with nowhere to stay (the area was fully booked due to a concern in Sunderland). And I only received these details after numerous text messages to request it. We then arrived at the property. It was horrendous. Firstly a very steep narrow staircase to climb (around 15-20 steps) and there was no mention of any accessibility issues when booking. The property was run down, dusty, had dirty pots in the cupboard and stains on the sofa. The photos you see when booking is not the property you stay at. It was like an extremely run down student property. There were holes in the blinds and the place to hang clothes was also ripped and dirty. The garden area looked like a rubbish tip, with cigarette ends and garden waste covering it. There was no hot water when we arrived and after looking into it, the boiler had a code flashing due to the pressure being too low. I had to top the pressure up myself. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Yes, we would stay with AA again!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The stay provided us with exaclty what we were looking for and due to the number of people that were able to stay in the appartmet, it was good value for money. I cannot thank AA for their levels of effective communication to provide us with the reassurance required, whenever we had an issue (which was extremely rare). We would certainly consider staying with AA again.

Great location shops close by and in walking distance and public transport very reliable and frequently. The apartment has loads of space.

It was poor as we couldn’t have the property we ment to have that I booked And we arrived and couldn’t find the first property. So I called up and spoke to someone about it and they said some one should of rang us at 11am to say that we couldn’t go into the property we booked.as it was damaged by people over the weekend.if we ok to change the location and property but I never got this phone call l.I didn’t know about it till I rang for some help about the property we booked. Then when we arrived at the new property there was some things there that we won’t happy with like there won’t a lock on the bathroom door We couldn’t get any WiFi and you should off got free WiFi with the property. It was clean inside the property for the price we paid for it etc

Just needed a place to sleep in the Newcastle area, to enable us to be at both days of the Rugby League Magic Weekend at St. James's Park, without having to travel home on the Saturday night and back on Sunday morning. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well presented.
