Grand room 7 is a great vantage point.
A short walk to the beach, light rail, cbd, pubs and restaurants.
Bolton St parking is across the road, it is pretty cheap.

Quite dated, few stains on bedding etc, broken blinds
Good for a couple of days stay as a base

Nice old building and pub. Rooms are a good size but a little odd. Peeling paint etc due to problems with the old building. Exceptional value.

No fuss check in, reasonable condition for such an old building (but hot water in shower of the en suite room is a major let down, plumbing work is required immediately) Good bistro facility and happy hour in the hotel. Although no on site parking in the building, free parking spots on the street after 6 pm is abundant.

Great location for a short stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel old but renovated while keeping old style.
